The “Härjedalspipa”, “shepherds flute” in our context called the Nordic Low Whistle, is a Swedish cylindrical flute, build by craftsman Gunnar Stenmark.The model is a result of folk music research, and has also been further developed by musician’s preferences. This particular instrument is a seven-hole whistle, made of slow grown fir-wood.
The “Weltmeister Meteor” Piano Accordion was manufactured in Germany in the early eighties or late seventies. Sold mostly in the east & south Europe. This item is bought in Greece in the mid eighties & in perfect condition. The complete SampleSet contains 567 individual 24 bit Mono WAV samples & 17 programs, each for HALion 1.*, HALion 2.01 & NI Kontakt. Almost every note has been sampled with 2 velocity levels. It’s the bellow in/out dragging that’s splitted into velocity zones. Release samples to get the “air” of the Accordion. This makes the difference between playing a sample of an accordion or actually feel & hear the presence of the “real” instrument. All 5 key register positions has been sampled & divided into 4 SampleSets for download & a BUNDLE for a reduced price. Each SampleSet contains 4 sample programs: “Mini”, “Optimal”, “Extended” & “Dream”. No basses. “Mini” Budget version that loads less samples. Suitable when you have small amounts of RAM available in your sampler. “Optimal” The version with almost all samples loaded. “Extended” Mostly true to the original instrument with all samples. “Dream” Both velocity splits layered & no release samples. Dreamy, fat & more “Pad” like. No ambition to sound realistic, only good. All WAV samples have been tweaked for playability & realism within the programs. You get a fast response when playing, no need for staccato samples. The modulation wheel gives you the ability to do manual vibratos. We recommend the HALion 2.0 & Kontakt programs for best modulation possibilities. & a volume pedal for swells

Similar types of instrument could be found all over the world: “Santoor” in India, “Yang qin” in China, “Hammered Dulcimer” in England and “Hackbräde” in Sweden. They are all slightly different in the amount of strings and the timbre but with similar constructions. We have sampled the Persian Santur with 2 types of mallets in 3 velocities, “Santur 1” (hard mallets) and “Santur 2” (soft mallets). You also get a huge set of different glisses, fx both tonal and percussive divided into 6 programs. Formats included: SoundFont, HALion, Kontakt.

At the beginning of the 18th century in Paris, Nicholas Blanchet, and his son Francois Etienne, the leading makers of the time, switched the method of making Cembalo Harpsichords from that of the Ruckers family (celebrated Flemish makers of the 17th century) to their original method, producing an instrument with much lighter tone quality, strong in projection and rich in overtones.

The Yamaha Electone D-85 is the source of sounds in our fourth volume of the Vintage Keyboard Collection. The D-85 was released in 1980 and designed as an home organ a grandmas organ, for the “loaded” grandmas though, cause the price tag was around $10000. The D-85 is completely analog and uses a technique called PASS (Pulse Analog Synthesis System) developed for the legendary Electone GX-1. The sound of the D-85 is rich warm big and very much analog synth and not typical organ. The Gothic choir sounds of the D-85 is absolutely superb and “Kraftwerk” type of sounding.
