Alright I Solved it. Now, firstly, download an application named : ” Little Snitch ” We’ll use it later.

Firstly Install the Ableton. Then Unrar the Patch. You will see a file named Ableton 8.2.6 Patch. Then Right click to it and click Show Package Contents. If you double-click it, it runs Mainstage but it is actually a .rar file. I know it’s weird. =)

Anyway, in package contents, there is an .auz and Live.app files.

Now install the Little Snitch application. It is an ip-filter program. It automatically runs after installation. Also you have to reboot the comp. after installation.

Then run the Ableton application and choose one of the modes(Live/Suite) first. Little Snitch will ask you to allow or deny a connection when you run Ableton. DENY it. (Don’t close the Ableton) Then go to your Patch Folder and double-click to Live.app , You will see some explanation. Find somewhere to click there(I don’t remember what it says), the explanation will disappear and you will see a a live.app button. Click it, then locate the Live application. The patch will install. If it says one file can’t be patched, skip it and continue installation.

Then open the .auz file with Ableton by right clicking and open with steps. Well, you’ve got your Ableton finally. Hope it helps.

    IF “LivePatch.app” WONT OPEN:
put the LivePatch.app in the “Applications” Folder open terminal and write:

    chmod 777 /Applications/LivePatch.app/Contents/MacOS/LivePatch

if terminal returns “No such file or directory” you have to change the Path. type “pwd” and it shows where you are on your system.
if terminal returns nothing LivePatch.app should work now.

After that I still had to authorize live (just drag the “Authorize826.auz” on “Live.app”)

    ..hope it helps….
