Creative Extensions is a free addition to Live 12 Suite created with an experimental approach to sound processing and generative composition. Creative Extensions, a collaborative effort between Ableton and Amazing Noises, comprises eight tools designed to enhance and expand the punch, color and texture achievable with Live. This collection includes new ways to pitch shift and sequence melodies and delays, creative and characterful studio processing, a device that creates ethereal, reverb-like spaces, and two revamped Max for Live synths.

A collection of creative MAX FOR LIVE sequencers that introduce probability and chance to your music. Probability Pack is a set of five creative sequencers that allow you to add controlled randomization to your composition and performance process. Each sequencer has a unique way of adding subtle or extreme randomization to patterns for unpredictable outcomes. Use these sequencers to generate new ideas, create variations of existing patterns, set up unpredictable, ever-evolving musical textures or combine them all to create complete chaos. The sequencers were designed for hands-on use with Push, but hardware is not necessary to use them. Probability Pack also comes with custom presets designed by Sonic Faction to show off the expressiveness of each device.

Combining the textural intricacy of FM with the freeform approach of a modular system, Bengal is a sound designer’s dream with its four operators, eight voices of polyphony, six audio effects and a flexible modulation architecture centred on an interactive virtual patchbay. Semi-modular and polyphonic: Bengal is a semi-modular synth, meaning that although its component modules (operators, filters, etc) are all fixed, they can be patched together in a huge range of configurations in the giant Patch panel at the bottom. Connect square output sockets to round input sockets by dragging virtual patchcords between them – it couldn’t be easier. Bengal is also eight-voice polyphonic, so it’s just as at home blasting out huge chords as it is one-finger basslines.
