How To Create A DAW Preset TUTORiAL

    SYNTHiC4TE | Dec 13 2014 | 207 MB

It’s a common problem for my students: They have an idea, a melodic sequence for example, a beat pattern, a sounds, a line of text for a song… a have to start setting up a proper session for recording or sequencing their idea before they can start to record the input. Often, the idea is blurred or lost before they even start to catch it. This class will teach you how to build your very own preset template for any DAW (I’ll use Ableton Live) to save time when starting new projects. We’ll create a new session with all tracks named and colored, create track grouping, insert your favourite synths or fx plugins, set up send/return channels, enable midi routings, program your favorite beat patterns, prepare special tracks for side chaining and much more.

    Electronic Dance Music Production

How To Do Mashups and Edits TUTORiAL

    TEAM MAGNETRiXX | 28 September 2014 | 304 MB

In this course you will learn How To Do Mashups and Edits, and that is the best way to start to understand how Electronic Music Production works. The course works also as an introduction to Music Production techniques, so even if you don´t know how to work with the software you own, this course gives you the first ideas about what music softwares can do. Mashups and Edits, are somehow easy to do, but many people do it wrong, not on the beat and with hard transitions. At the end of this course you will be able to do them perfectly, on the beat and with smooth transitions, plus you will learn some introductory tips about EQ, Limiter, Reverb, Pitch, Filter, Automation and BPM Change, that are useful to do quality Mashups and Edits. I run the course on Logic Pro, but if you do use any other music software/DAW you can follow the course easily by using the similar plug-ins and techniques I use on Logic Pro on your software.
